Gradient Clothing

You will need: Color Scheme | Model Image

Step One) Make sure your image is opened up on photoshop. Duplicate your model image. Select the little button on the bottom of the layers panel to make a new layer mask on your top model image. Fill this with black.

Step Two) Your image should be a bit red. If its not, Click the "|\" key on your keyboard. Take the brush tool > Make the foreground color white > Brush on your layer mask and colorn the piece of clothing or item you want colored.

Step Three) Right click on the layer mask > Apply mask to selection. Click on the model image right to the left of that > Copy > Paste.

Step Four) On your new pasted layer - Go to Image > Adjustments > Black & White. Then, open up the blending options and add a gradient fill. If this is going to be a PSD, you would select the layer and add it to the selected part. You could also add a trippy gradient, background psd, whatever you wanted. Make the blending mode of this layer whatever you think looks best. I like doing soft light or overlay.

Step Five) Once you have that all set, you're all done! You could add glitter if you wanted to as well by going to Filter > Noise > Add Noise. There is honestly so many different ways you can do this for different things so play around!
